Nottingham-based charity Refugee Roots has secured two years of funding (£29,800). I’m really excited to tell you that Windmill Community Gardens have been shortlisted for a grant of £10,000 Silver category from the Severn Trent Community Fund! We know how helpful and useful it was being funded by Severn Trent Community Fund as they funded us 2 years ago with more than £20,000. We also know they were great funders and partners. We will be responding to the Ukrainian War by providing our core services with increased capacity and developing them accordingly. For these reasons we will be supporting local people who wish to be part of the governments Homes for Ukraine scheme to connect with Ukrainian refugees.
