Refugee Week 2026

Courage

Refugee Week is a UK-wide festival celebrating the contributions, creativity and resilience of refugees and people seeking sanctuary. This year's theme, 'Courage', rings true for us at Refugee Roots.

Come and take part in Refugee Week with Refugee Roots. There are events taking place throughout the week, across Nottingham City Centre. You can get involved by:

  • coming along to any of our events, to meet other people and find out more;

  • making a donation to cover the cost of a participant’s place at an event or fundraising;

  • supporting our £100K appeal with a donation.
