Art for compassion

For this week’s #ThrowbackThursday, we're looking back to the this year's launch of Refugee Week in June and our special exhibition in collaboration with the Sugar Stealers at the Old Bus Depot. The art exhibition was a chance to showcase a range of art created by our Access Art group surrounding Refugee Week’s national theme of COMPASSION which included paintings, poetry, sculptures, textiles, and mixed media pieces.

We were joined by 98 attendees to celebrate the launch exhibition accompanied by live poetry performances and food.
