A new start in September

School is back! We didn't stop for a break this summer making sure our participants got all the help and support they needed thanks to a dedicated and committed staff team and volunteers that care. So it's a new start for everyone with an even greater range of activities and support available.

Developing Access

We have expanded our Access Project, offering food, social opportunities, activities and English conversation groups throughout the week. You are always welcome whether you wish to come along every week or when you can.

Between our Art Groups, English Classes, Workshops and Free Lunches, there is almost always something going along at our City Centre location. So please come along, have something to eat and meet volunteers and others from the refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds.

Our full-time support worker means you can also arrange appointments or receive on-the-spot assistance while visiting our office.

Even if you can’t engage with the groups due to commitments or work, you can access our befriending project to be matched 1:1 with one of our volunteers to practice your English, socialise, and discover Nottingham.
