In May, Meghan fundraised for Refugee Roots by completing the Three Welsh Peaks challenge.

Through studying for a journalism degree, Meghan had done some research about Refugee Roots and wanted to challenge herself to raise money for us.

I chose to fundraise for Refugee Roots as I think it is a great cause in the local community

Meghan and her dad completed the Welsh Three Peaks from 12th to 14th May. She says, "I chose to do the Welsh three peaks as it was an achievable challenge for me and something me and my Dad could do together. We originally hoped to complete the challenge in two days but due to a slight knee injury I extended it to doing one peak a day - with Snowdon on Friday, Cadair Idris on the Saturday and Pen-Y-Fan on the Sunday. The walking terrain was a lot more difficult than I had prepared for particularly on Saturday, but was very enjoyable and we were lucky to have such beautiful weather across the weekend, particularly in Wales!"

Meghan raised an incredible £500 for Refugee Roots - thanks so much Meghan for your support!
