Jingle all the way!

Refugee Roots had a great time celebrating with participants and volunteers on 20th December at St Marys in the Lace Market. Around 60 participants and volunteers enjoyed time together surrounded by Christmas lights and trees.

Stripey Beetroot prepared a vegetable chili with wraps. Art and Craft activities were also enjoyed by those who joined the festivities.

We always love to share food with our participants and volunteers and we were grateful for the wonderful space in which we were able to meet for this celebration. It was great too, having members and staff of St Mary's join us for lunch. We will be back on January 19th for the insight meeting when our volunteers and participants will be catering for the meeting.

It was a magical and beautiful time together with joy and smiles. We were able to give children gifts (some chocolates) as well.

Looking for more creative things to do this winter?

Tune in on Friday 23rd December at 11am for our Art at home session.

We look forward to seeing you again! Have a great Christmas and happy new year.
