Volunteers who care

Volunteers who care are at the heart of Refugee Roots, with over 100 volunteers making a real difference. You could too!!! We love and care for all if you share these values then come and be part of something truly life changing for our participants.

Why volunteer

We believe small things make a big difference. Your time, skills and participation in our work can make a real and positive impact in the lives of our participants. Volunteering with Refugee Roots is a place where you can belong as we create welcoming spaces for our participants together.

My experience has been highly positive, Refugee Roots has provided relevant training, a warm welcome and the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

How to volunteer

We ask everyone interested in volunteering to fill out a registration form. We will get back to you as soon as possible. We will then meet prospective volunteers who will be able to attend an induction. We will take references for volunteers and expect everyone who volunteers to attend safeguarding training.
