Refugee Roots and Always Community Launch a new universal credit advice project

Financial help and guidance

We are working with Always Community to offer valuable advice and guidance for those accessing Universal Credit. The collaboration aims to empower individuals by giving them the knowledge they require to understand the UK's welfare system and access essential financial assistance.

Always Communities are committed to community change and development through the creation of partnerships and we are excited to be working with them on this project. Together, Refugee Roots and Always Community will be offering 1-to-1 advice sessions for those seeking help with Universal Credit.

Individuals will be supported by a trained advisor to make a Universal Credit claim, create an online application, or support with issues regarding accounts and payments.

The sessions will run weekly on Thursday 9:30am-1pm by appointment only at our office. To book a Universal Credit appointment, please use the form below:

Drama Workshops with Nottingham Playhouse

Refugee Roots and the Nottingham Playhouse are hosting weekly drama workshops to help improve English skills, socialise, and build confidence through performance.
