Refugee Run Club is more than just a weekly running group – it’s a community initiative that empowers refugees, promotes physical and mental well-being, and fosters social connections through the universal language of sport.

With more than 20 runners already taking part, this inspiring programme is creating lasting change within refugee communities.

A Special Connection between Refugee Roots and Refugee Run Club

The relationship between Refugee Roots and Refugee Run Club began with an introduction by one of the participants from Refugee Roots who reached out to facilitate the connection, recognising the immense potential of joining forces to support refugees through running.

A Growing Impact

Thanks to Refugee Run Club, over 30 runners have gained access to the Coopah app, an innovative platform that provides coaching and training tools to help individuals achieve their fitness goals. In addition, participants have received essential running clothing, ensuring everyone feels equipped and ready to take part.
