Spreading the joy

It is approaching the season of giving and we are giving back to regular donors who signup. We aim to have at least 100 regular donors involved in our work through their partnership and support.

We will be gifting regular donors who signup. Gifts include The Sharing Table recipe book, A place to belong tea towel and a collection of poems "The Return to Hinterlands -more travels around England’s non-league football grounds, with Chris Towers".

Think of it as the best cracker freebie you could have this Christmas!

Why are we aiming to reach 100 donors?

We have been taking a look back over the past three financial years for the charity. The number of participants supported has grown enormously, from 310 people in 2021-22, to 749 in 2022-23 and then 1149 from July 2023 to June 2024.

In comparison, whilst our income increased by 63% from 2021 to 2023, since then it has plateaued, meaning that we have been supporting many more people whilst not significantly extending our resources. The past year has been a very busy and challenging time, but with many positive stories of change.

We recognise the importance of increasing our fundraising with less dependence on trusts and foundations. This campaign is part of wider strategy to secure the funds needed to continue to have a lasting impact on participants and develop our work further.

How can I be involved?

You can become a regular donor today, share or invite someone you know to consider signing up. Any contribution is welcome as every donation made is all part of the change and transformation our work brings. You could consider your "Christmas Cracker" budget to be your monthly or quarterly donation amount or perhaps something else like matching another subscription to an entertainment service as a start.
