I have volunteered with them in the past, helping to teach English and linguistically support Ukrainian refugees and I saw what an important role Refugee Roots plays in providing a sense of community for refugees, as well as helping them to integrate, manage complicated legal processes, and manage their difficult situations.
We are a society at the University of Nottingham called the Notts Brown Girl Link-Up. As part of our mission, we would like to support a local charity that aligns with our values of uplifting and supporting women within vulnerable situations.
