Together, they have launched a special programme providing free photography classes aimed at empowering refugees and fostering creativity. Details of the Classes Starting 24th Feb 2026 classes will be held every Tuesday from 2.30pm to 4.30pm at the Nottingham Playhouse as part of the Creative cafe (Refugee Roots and Nottingham Playhouse). This six-week programme is designed to provide hands-on experience and teach participants the fundamentals of photography in a welcoming and supportive environment. Who Can Participate? The initiative is open to refugees of all ages and skill levels who are interested in learning more about photography.
