Get Involved Fundraise for us Our Fundraisers Climbing Higher Cycling Challenge 2025 Donate As the Charity Director I've seen first-hand the amazing work the staff team and dedicated volunteers achieve. I'm incredibly proud of their contributions. Challenged by a friend to climb higher than I ever have before en velo I accepted the challenge. I'm starting now to train and prepare for the climb. Every donation will certainly help me get there and take on these two climbs. This fundraising challenge is set to climb closer to the goal of raising 100K for Refugee Roots. Day 1 Beginning in Le Bourg d’Oisans, a 40km ride to the Col du Lauteret, at an elevation of 2058 metres, before climbing the Col du Galibier (often the highest point of the Tour de France) at an elevation of 2642 metres. 115km total, with 2012m of vertical ascent. Day 2 The climb of the legendary Alpe ‘dHuez, the famous climb from the Tour France featuring 21 hairpin bends, followed by the Col de Sarenne. 60km total, with 1302m of vertical ascent.
