We are a society at the University of Nottingham called the Notts Brown Girl Link-Up Society. As part of our mission, we aim to curate a safe and welcoming space for South Asian women.

As part of that, we decided to support Refugee Roots, a local charity in our community that aligns with our core values of uplifting and supporting women within vulnerable situations. We want to give back to our local community - everyone deserves a safe and welcoming space, and we admire Refugee Roots for their work in curating such for everyone, regardless of their background.

By fundraising for Refugee Roots, we can help be part of a wider mission to empower asylum seekers and refugees, and give them a space where they can feel welcomed, appreciated, and comfortable. Khushi Dhutty
