Meet Millie

Millie first met Refugee Roots in 2019 as a volunteer. Here's what she had to say.

"I started volunteering with Refugee Roots when I moved to Nottingham in 2019 for university and I have been involved since. I was new to the city and Refugee Roots gave me the opportunity to be involved in a community whilst making a difference."

"I volunteered at the English Access and as a Befriender and I saw the important impact these projects have through empowering people. I am delighted to now be working at Refugee Roots and, since starting my role, it has been great to become more involved, meet the team, and learn more about the charity."

Millie will be managing our general emails ([email protected]), general enquiries, and office phone line. She takes up a part time role and is in Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays.
