Our team expands

We have recently welcomed two new support workers. Thanks to funding from Barrow Cadbury Trust  and Allen Lane Foundation we are able to welcome Fawad and Kanana to our team. Fawad and Kanana will enhance and enrich the team bringing their experience and skill. As we move towards re-opening some services their contributions will be invaluable. They will also help us to manage the significant increase and demand we have seen through the pandemic for advice, guidance and help at critical moments.

Kanana

Kanana Mbogori has recently been a Research Associate at CUTS international Geneva, which is an international non-profit NGO that catalyses the pro-trade, pro-equity voices of the Global South in international trade and development debates

I come from a very international background which helps me to empathise with people from all around the world and adapt to different environments very quickly. I am excited to bring forward these qualities to this job role and I'm keen to contribute to Refugee Roots' continuous success.
