Taylor volunteered with us in 2019 each week providing a warm welcome, a huge smile and friendly face for our participants. Competitive games of Uno and Dobble were one of the many memories we have shared with our participants. 

I have experienced such joy whilst volunteering, it is so pleasing to watch the happiness that having a conversation or playing a game of cards brings. Taylor

Volunteers like Taylor build positive friendships with refugees, through the small gestures of welcome, creating a place where refugees can belong. Taylor supports our Access project setting up the room, putting food and clothing items out, checking what stock we have and meeting our participants. You can often find Taylor playing Uno, Dobble or other card games, sharing fun and laughter. One participant said "her enthusiasm does me good".
