Get involved Appeals Wellbeing and Support Donate Fundraise Bring Hope We began fundraising during the 12 days of Christmas to provide wellbeing and support activities for asylum seekers and refugees. It gave us a headstart for this campaign. Our participants want to be able to connect and improve their wellbeing through activities and learning opporutnities that will give them something positive and prodcutive to do. Donations will help fund the shortfall for; the Asylum Support Worker to facilitate the provision of these support activities and to respond to the most basic needs of our participants. the Befriending Coordinator to coordinate and organise more than 40 volunteers supporting more than 50 participants who recieve weekly phone calls or meet their befriender in person for socially distanced walks. data charges/phone credit for partiicpants to be able to join online activities one to one counselling and wellbeing support with partners We are currently funded by Severn Trent Community Fund until July 2021 which helps us cover volunteer expenses and some activity costs. The lockdown and pandemic has increased anxiety and caused many of our participants to experience poorer mental health. We have also seen an increase in demand for food and clothing. We want to bring hope and provide activities and support to improve wellbeing for the most at risk and vulnerable.
